ATTACHMENT AS ONE OF THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS IN THE PSYCHIC WORKING OF RECIDIVIST VICTIMS.

This study is framed in the development of a model of psychic working of the recidivist victims, an addiction study is carried out in 92 adult recidivist victims, who attended the forensic psychology department of the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences, Mérida- Venezuela, using the Scale of Attachment for Non-Romantic Relations and the Attachment Scale for Romantic Relations, Casullo and Fernández (2004), which has a Cronbach's alpha of 0.45 and 0.52; however, for this sample, said value was 0.79 and 0.81 respectively.. Evaluate fearful-avoidant, anxious and segure attachment. The intention is to reach a first approximation of the understanding of said sample, with the purpose of developing models and lines of investigation that allow to deepen into the phenomenon studied. Predominance was found in the presence of symptoms that refer to fearful and avoidant attachment styles, allowing us to understand elements that determine the reiteration of the people evaluated in their condition as repeat victims, which allows us to begin to identify fundamental elements in their psychic functioning, showing how it is possible that the way of understanding the links has a direct impact on the condition they are going through. It is also recommended the evaluation of other factors of mental functioning for this population, such as post-traumatic stress, personality and psychiatric disorders, in the same way as other more extensive forms of approach to the phenomenon from social, ethnographic and cultural.

It was proposed to design, apply and evaluate a focused brief psychotherapy group
in attachment, composed of 8 young people (3 female and 5 male), in ages between 16
and 18 years, chosen with an intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The investigation
It was a field study, with a quasi-experimental design, using the Adolecent
Relationship Scales Questionnair by Scharfe 1999, and the BENSPI-J Scale of Castullo
2002; in pre and post-test measurements. Results of the different ones were compared
measurement moments of each of the groups, evaluating the existence of
significant differences (0.05) with the nonparametric statistical test of
Wilcoxon, without finding significant changes; and correlations were found
statistically significant among the variables using the test of

APPROACHES TO PSYCHIC PERFORMANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF RECIDIVIST VICTIM. CONTENT ANALYSIS

ABSTRACT

In order to understand the psychic functioning of the recidivist victim, there had been done a content analysis focused on experiences made to whole amount of adult recidivist victims served during August and September of 2017 in the National Service of Forensic Medicine and Sciences Mérida was carried out. Recidivist victim is understood as a person who has been victims of the same crime more than once, denounced or not, by the same aggressor or another. It was found that in 66.7% of cases aggression came from a partner or ex-partner. On the other hand, 100% of the cases refer to verbal violence. When violence came from exercised by the partner or ex-partner, as well as a tendency towards physical aggression related to the aggressor mentioned above. Difficulties in the handling of attachments and limits in recidivist victims are hypothesized. Also it is recommended to make a deeper qualitative research in order to reach an explanatory understanding of the object of study.

Marriage crisis after moving aboard

Moving a board may be a family project. Maybe you spent long time making it possible to achieve a better future for the whole family.

Now, you are involved with this so wonderful person, who is so dissimilar from you. We are talking about a person from a completely different culture. She/he was born in this country which is now your home, consequently, she/he was risen speaking another language, having other habits…

However, you are in love, but most of the time you understand nothing about one´s interest or point of view. You are really making an effort, you are awake that you are the outsider. But, loving should be an experience for relaxing and feeling at home. Now, you do not feel at home never… It is very hard.

First of all, you might try explaining to this person what are you feeling now, but avoiding to blame your partner. Nowadays, people want to own more things than ever. Some people believe that it is just because of advertising in spite of real needs in current societies. However, I think that there are more than one reason behind this reality. Modern lifestyle is fast, consequently consumer goods are answers to make it easier. That is why, people want to have those things.

First of all, it is pivotal to be aware of our current way of living, because it is very demanding of time and effort. Hence, people want to make life as easy as possible. As a result of it, scientists have designed lots of new things which help people to do daily activities. With publicity or without it things such as cell phones and refrigerators solve problems in a short and efficient way. Thus, it is natural that people want this kind of thing; they had become into real needs.

Nonetheless. The brands that people are used to buying depend almost 1% on advertisements. For instance, some people only buy Apple devises. They think that Apple products are better than others because most of the time movies show people using this brand. Maybe some Apple stuffs are very good ones, but there are people who have never tried other brands, because their blindly believe in publicity. Thus, there are some popular consumer goods which are essential in people routine, nevertheless sometimes people buy one brand due to its marketing campaign.

In conclusion, I am not in favor of the reason why people want to have more things is just because they are prey of marketing. In my opinion, many popular goods make life effortless to deal with demands. Although, some people rather to buy a specific brand or think that a brand is the best one just because they have watched it by media.

Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Along the history, women have had a higher responsibility about children development. Currently, this is a tendency that needs to be changed. Even if mother are who carry  baby 9 months inside them, both parents are essential for children’ minds conformation. At the same time, their influence would have an impact during the whole life.

I strongly support the idea that it is pivotal that humanity change its mind about the difference between genders and their responsibilities toward sons and daughters .People need both parents to feel safe and happy. There are many essential elements in which mothers and fathers could affect peoples’ personalities, identities and even mental disorders. Developing countries need to improve fundamental elements such as health, trades and education to achieve higher standards of living. Many people believe that it is pivotal that richer nations help others in need. I strongly disagree this point of view, because of poorer countries just need a change of mind to solve their difficulties, and most of the time, they reject advises from the developed ones.

Each nation needs to focus on developing better health facilities and higher educational systems to reach a better lifestyle for its citizens. In my opinion the only efficient way to achieve these improvements is changing people minds toward being more commitment to their jobs and working hard to receive what they really deserve. Intelligence is the ability to solve problems efficiently. Researchers have found that smart people are able to adapt their skills to deal with common troubles in both personal and professional lives. However, academic situations such as schools encourage people to put the spotlight on being able to adapt to specific structures and show their abilities into these. The question is what happen with people who are different or have difficulties to get used to? Are they not smart enough?

Brilliant people can use their intellectual capabilities to make their lives more satisfactory. I strongly support the idea that it is impossible to measure this ability through school scores. The real way to evaluate this point is making a comparison between people desires and their lifestyle. For example, a person who wants to have kids and turn them into good people, and achieve this feeling glad, this is a person who is able to manage situations well enough, from my point of view he or she is a very smart one.

On the other hand, academic requirements ask for a specific kind of intelligence which is the skill to manage many  demands into a specific structure. So, society life is full of structures. That is why I believe that having good marks at school shows one kind of intelligence. However, there are lot of smart and creative people who are not able to reach those. They are not stupid people, they have just other skills.

In conclusion, I definitely think that academic achievements just check one kind of abilities; nevertheless, intelligence is much more than that. In my opinion, what define intelligence is how well people can go over the world.

I am here

Hello everybody, I am back after long time. I am about to give you a brief explanation about what have been happened all this time, since the very beginning for my new readers.

As many of you know, I made the decision to move to New Zealand more than three years ago. This has been a long way to go. I thought that the hardest part would be to find a job there or even to have money enough to move from one place to another. I was completely wrong. The most difficult step has been to achieve enough score in the IELTS test.

But, what have I been doing these three years? Well, all kind of things… I left Caracas and all the important things I had there. The most painful part was left my patients, because I had done a nice job with them for long time, and I had to stop that work to take care of other business. I spent a year without working just focus on studying English. That was a nice time. Even if I have not been able to reach 7.5 in the IELTS test yet, I learn to much that year. Then we (my husband and I) made the decision to move to Mérida while I get success in the test. Mérida is the most beautiful place in this country with the highest lifestyle which is still too low, but it is the highest possible one here.

I have spent one year and three months here.  This has been a good time. I have been working and studying. Further, I have grown up a lot, this place has given me the opportunity to think deeply about several issues, I believe I am a nicer person now. I am happy about that. However, I sometimes feel that I am at the same point: trying to achieve 7.5 in the fucking IELTS!

I have sailing throughout all possible emotions this time: I have felt hopeful, hopeless, happy, sad, disappointed… but the most difficult feeling to deal with has been to feel that my life is stopped inside a jail named Venezuela whose only possible outlet pass is finding a 7.5 in the Academic IELTS test…

I took the test in September 7^th. I have done it twice. I hope to do a better job the next time and continue my life.

So, the next question: why I am writing here again? Well, from my point of view, the real question is: why I stopped to writing here?, and the answer is: I felt ashamed. I was embarrassed to spent too much time to go over a test, and that was why I didn’t continue publishing my things here. Today, I have changed my mind, I have nothing to be ashamed. Having enough mark in the IELTS test is not a easy task, what is more, to be able of continue trying and having clear the goal is something remarkable from my view. So, I am not happy to be in this point now, but I am proud of never abandon my dreams.

So here I am. I will try to write as much as possible again and keep this blog update. Thank to everyone who was continued visiting my site even if I stopped writing.

Nowadays, in developed counties wide range of national budget is used fixing ancient museums, theaters and others art places which most of them are part of the humanity history, built very long ago; some people believe that governments should build new ones instead of continuing repairing the older ones, while others support the idea that they are very important to societies. That is why, it is a complicated issue that deserves a deep evaluation before offering an opinion.

Along history many beautiful buildings have been built, some of them are still in use; they are live part of our evolution, and having the option to visit them is an opportunity to be inside the olden times and learn about them with a personal experience and not just reading or listening a story. However, to keep them in shape is very expensive; what is more, they are using spaces in which are impossible to build new and modern ones.

Furthermore, present artists should have a chance to demonstrate their skills; so, it is quite possible that some of them could develop creative buildings using update technologies which may be cheaper, more useful and a way to leave part of our contemporaneous art to future generations as well. Anyway, both destroy the older ones and abandon them may be a horrible loss to our time gone by. Then, the better idea is keeping the ancients as museum which tell our history and find new places for moderns ones.

In conclusion, from my point of view, it is not a matter of having old or new buildings, it is necessary to find places for both of them in our budget, cities and history.

Presently, some people get used to having children older than in the past; there are different opinions about this situation, a group support the idea that it has more downside than positive effects for families and consequently, for societies, while other disagree with this point of view. That is why, it is an essential issue which deserves a deep down evaluation before offering an opinion.

Ancient societies tended to have younger parents for many reasons, such as in the past people lived shorter than nowadays and there were not contra conceptive methods. So, those cultures were very young and frequently parents and children were adults at the same time, having a chance to share some good experiences. Moreover, some experts believe that it is better to have children in the 20s decade because people are more energetic and healthier.

On the other hand, these days people live longer, and they have more time to become economic stable, reach professional satisfactory and start a family. Even if, it may be very funny to be 27 and have a 10 years old child, it is very complicated to be a teen parent and teach the ropes to a baby when father or mother is still a child. So, in modern societies, it is quite common that partners make the decision to become parents when they have a wide range of needs solve and they feel ready to take care of someone else.

In conclusion, from my point of view, it is natural that now people have children older than in the past, and it is not necessarily better or wrong, it is a result of our new lifestyle.

Everyday globalization is nearer people; consequently, it is quite common that children get used to studying a second language at school in order to offer them more tools to face the modern world. However, it may carry some downside. That is why, it is an essential issue which deserves a deep evaluation before offering an opinion.

Young people are more able to learn new languages than older ones because they mind are wider flexible. However, some relatives believe that it is not a good idea to teach their small children a new tongue, because they are just learning their mother languages, and introduce a new one might confuse them, becoming harder to achieve a good comprehension of both tongues; they support the idea that younger kids could make many grammar mistakes as consequence of the mix of languages. For instance, in New Zealand, a couple of parent showed disagree when their toddler was learning a Maori language when she was 2, they said that they wanted that she know it, but she was so young yet.

On the other hand, lots of researches have demonstrated that bilingual children tend to be more intelligent than the monolingual ones; even if children who speak more than one language spend more time learning to talk and write, they have more advantages in future. Researchers suggest that it is a good idea to teach more than one tongue at school to become them familiar and easy to learn for students.

In conclusion, from my point of view, although it is harder to learn two languages for children, it has more good points than negative effects in them. So it is fundamental to teach them another tongue to open the door for more opportunities.

The pie graphs below illustrate the percentage of career studied at the National University in the year 1990, 2000 and after a decade.

In 1990, 30% of people there had their degrees in both computer science and business; however, those careers took different ways, and while the first one was increasing the next 20 years, the amount of proportion of people who got their degrees in business showed a slow decline.

Otherwise, in 1990 and 2010 25% of people who attended to National University had their degrees in Medicine, while in 2000 they were 5% more. In contrast, 15% of people there studied law at the first stage and the end of the period, but only 10% got their degrees in this area in the middle of the time.

Summarizing, there people studied similar percentage each career with slight fluctuations, it is possible to say that only in Computer science and Business were possible to find important differences in the last measurement.

Compare modern shopping centers to local markets and shops. What way of shopping has more advantages for the people and the society?

Nowadays shopping centers have been changing and we have different types of them, since the most modern ones to the oldest such as local markets.  These shops’ diversity brings wide range of both obvious benefit and downside. That is why, it is essential to analyze this point deeply before offering an opinion.

Local and small markets have existed long ago, and they offer people close relationships with their sellers in order to allow them to know very well what kind of consumer likes everyone; consequently, some people prefer to go to small shops, find some items there and enjoy a good time as well. Moreover, most of those shops tend to receive neighbors who live around and are used to going walking and spending short time in their shopping.

On the other hand, these days, it is quite common that update markets have almost everything, so people can buy there a kilogram of onion, a refrigerator, and some cadies; this modern situation have many positive aspects, because the biggest shops can buy higher amount of things paying less for them; so they are able to sell cheaper. Furthermore, people find there a lot of stuffs, so they do not need to visit different places so that buy what they want. Then, small and big shops have some argument in favor; saying that one is better than the other depend on what someone is looking for.

In conclusion, from my point of view, it is hard to say that bigger markets or local ones have more good points, because it has always a close relationship to what everybody needs and wants in a specific moment; all of them might help to improve people’ lives as well as social development.

Some ex-prisoners commit crimes after being released from the prison. What do you think is the cause? How can it be solved?

Ex-convicts are very big social problems, because some of them tend to continue having illegal behaviors after leave jails. It does not only affect their victims, it has consequences in the whole society, becoming them in a public trouble which needs facing. That is why, it is essential analyze this point deeply before offering an opinion.

Every society has criminal people who disturb the daily life in their environment.  Moreover, it is quite common that after antisocial ones go out to prison, they are used to making crimes again, in most of cases they are worse than the previous ones. Many countries are looking for solving this issue; they have tried to teach them new activities in order to help ex-prisoners to become part of the workforce and more productive in general. However, even if some of them have achieved in this goal, others do not.

From my point of view, it is because of criminal people are not just bad persons, they are mental illness ones, they have problems in both to follow rules and feel interest in others; so they do not only need to learn a new kind of job, they need to have mental help as well. Governments should treat them as sick people and offer them global interventions.

In conclusion, it is a very serious social problem; because nobody has the correct answer neither the complete solution, but it is possible that giving to ex-convicts general help such as medical, mental and labor tools, they may be better people in the future and have wider range of option to become productive parts of society.
