Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than
the International music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

Music exists as long as
humanity’s history. It has showed each moment of people development; as well
social and personal development. It is possible find different kind of music
around the world; for instance, classical music, traditional music, rock, jazz,
etc. But, why is it so important? Is one of these kinds of music more important
than other?
People have used music as
a way to express their feelings, emotions and realities. In my point of view,
it is the aim of music, show what is happening with people, and allow emotion expression.
It shows a wide group of creative ideas, and ways to see the life.
Each single group of
society around the history has created their music, and some of those still
exist; they have been called “traditional music”, and it reflect a specific
culture. For that reason, this kind of music is very important, and it is
necessary to keep alive it as memory of our past.
On the other hand, these
days people tend to listen to pop music or international music in general more
than traditional one; all of those are present ways to express emotions and
feelings. It is very different to traditional music; anyway it is important
part of the society, and it shows part of our contemporary history.
In conclusion, music is a
pivotal for our species, and it talks about our creativity, history, feelings,
etc; all kind of music are important in the world, even if some of those are
not good for a group of people; this kind of creative expression is a part of our
development as humans.
