What is the difference between the new iPad and iPad 2?

After a long expectation, at last yesterday Apple launched the new iPad. It is possible to find a lot claims about the new iPad around the world; the most common saying is that the new iPad is not more that a poor actualization of the iPad 2, because it has the same size, color and price.

Anyway, it is time to know the difference and to offer Apple the benefit of the doubt it deserves for the years of innovation and technological revolution that it has given us. The highest differences are:

·              Screen: it has a resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 with a total of 3.1 million pixels.

·              Processor: it is called A5X and the main goal is to make the iPad faster without having to spend the battery.

·              Camera: the backside camera has 5 megapixels and it is able to record HD videos. Furthermore, it includes an image stabilizer, face recognition and the ability to improve snapshots automatically with poor light conditions.

·              Microphone: Apple added an option to dictate voice into the iPad.  For now it is able to recognize English, French, German and Italian.

·              4G: the new iPad can use the LTE communication nets which are faster and more stable than 3G. It could be the beginning of the end of 3G technology.
